Toast golden brown and cut out 12 hearts (8 x 7 cm). Drain the pineapple. Cut 2 hearts (with the same cutter) from each slice of ham. Cut out slices with the same heart shape.
Cover each toast heart with 1 ham heart, 1 pineapple ring and 1 cheese heart. Place the hearts on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes.
Put cocktail cherries on skewers and garnish the Hawaii toast hearts with them.
