Ingredients

Servings: 14
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 1 TEASPOON Salt
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON dried Italian herbs
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 200 g Low-fat curd
  • 80 ml Milk
  • 80 ml Oil
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper
  • 2 TABLESPOONS grated gouda cheese, sesame, dried Italian herbs, poppy seeds and linseed
  • 7-10 Tbsp Herb bouquet

Directions

  1. 1

Put flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and herbs into a mixing bowl and mix. Add egg, quark, milk and oil and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer to a smooth dough.

  2. 2

With floured hands form 14 rolls of the same size. Put the rolls together on a baking tray lined with baking paper to form a sunny spot (leave a gap of about 1 cm between rolls, as the dough rises during baking).

  3. 3

Whisk the egg yolk and cream. Brush the rolls with it and sprinkle them with cheese, sesame, herbs, poppy seeds and linseed as desired. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for 25-30 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove from the oven, place on a grid, allow to cool. Serve on a plate garnished with herbs as desired.
