Wholemeal toast with cheese filling

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 150 g Cucumber
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 200 g Brie cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 16 discs Whole grain toast bread
  • 30 g Butter

Directions

    Wash and halve the cucumber and remove the seeds. Cut cucumber, ham and cheese into small cubes and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Preheat sandwich maker. Spread the cheese-ham mixture on 8 slices of toast.

    Cover with remaining toast and cut in half diagonally. Melt the butter. Always put four pieces of toast in the Sandwich Maker at once. Brush the surface with butter and bake for about 2 minutes until golden brown.

    Bake the rest of the sandwich in the same way. Serve toast with salad and carrots.
