Soak rolls in cold water. Peel and finely chop the onions. Drain the olives and chop them coarsely. Knead minced meat, eggs, squeezed out rolls, onions and olives. Season with salt and pepper. Spread the mincing mixture on a greased baking tray.
Clean, wash and slice the tomatoes. Cover the minced meat mixture with it. Grate cheese and sprinkle over it. Sprinkle with seasoned pepper and cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 45 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh basil leaves before serving. Results in about 16 pieces
