Melon Granita

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe honeydew melons
  • 2 Lemons
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Halve melons, peel and remove seeds. Cut the flesh into cubes and puree. Halve lemons and squeeze the juice

    Simmer sugar, honey, lemon juice and 250 ml water in a pot for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and let it cool down

    Mix melon puree and syrup. Pour the mixture into a large, not too deep bowl (approx. 4 cm) and let it freeze through in the freezer for approx. 3 hours. Stir occasionally with a fork

    Crush the small crystals once more before serving. Divide Granita into 4 bowls, decorate with mint and serve immediately
