Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Disc/s Bacon
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml each) white beans
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1 Bread rolls from the previous day
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml each) "Texas mix" (corn with kidney beans and peppers)
  • 750 g mixed mince
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 600 g thick frozen French fries
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions. Fry the bacon slices in a pan without fat for approx. 4 minutes while turning them until crispy. Fry half of the onion cubes in bacon fat until translucent. Add tomato paste and sweat for about 1 minute. Pour the beans into a sieve, rinse, drain and add to the onions. Deglaze with 150 ml water, bring to the boil. Season baked beans with salt and paprika.

    Soak rolls in water. Drain the corn mixture well. Squeeze the bread roll. Knead minced meat, remaining onion cubes, corn mixture, bread roll and egg. Season with salt and pepper.

    Prepare French fries in the oven or deep fryer according to package instructions. Shape the mince into 4 minced steaks. Heat oil in a pan, e.g. grill pan. Fry the steaks for about 12 minutes. Season chips with salt and paprika. Arrange everything.
