Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 pck. (250 g each) chunky tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Baharat (Arabic spice mixture), salt, pepper
  • 60 g Cheddar (piece)
  • 6 Stem/s Coriander
  • 6 small Merguez (spicy lamb sausages)
  • 6 Hot dog buns
  • 100 g ripened cream
  • 60 g eingelegte Jalapeños

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Fry the onion and garlic briefly. Add tomatoes, bring to the boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with 1⁄2 TL Baharat, salt and pepper.

    Meanwhile grate the cheddar finely. Wash the coriander, shake dry and pluck off the leaves. Coat the sausages with the remaining oil and fry them in a grill pan all around for about 5 minutes. Cut the rolls open and roast them briefly in the hot pan with the cut surfaces facing down. Fill each roll with a sausage and some minced meat. Add 1 blob of sour cream to each roll. Sprinkle with cheddar, jalapeños coriander and pepper.
