Toast the baguette slices crisply in the toaster. Wash, clean, quarter and seed the tomatoes. Cut the flesh into small cubes. Wash basil, dab dry and remove leaves. Put some leaves aside for garnishing, chop the rest finely. Peel garlic and dice finely. Chop capers coarsely
Mix tomato cubes, basil, garlic, capers and oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Spread the tomatoes on the slices of bread and garnish with the remaining basil
