Spinach toast

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 Eggs
  • 375 g Spinach
  • 1 Onion
  • 60 g Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 4 discs Toast
  • 125 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • 2 discs (100 g) Smoked salmon

Directions

    Put the eggs in boiling water and boil for 5-6 minutes. Sort the spinach and wash it thoroughly. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat 20 g fat in a pot and fry the diced onion in it.

    Add the spinach and cook for about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Drain eggs, rinse with cold water, peel and cut into thin slices. Spread toast with the remaining fat.

    Spread slices of egg and spinach on top. Coarsely grate the cheese and sprinkle over the slices of toast. Bake in the preheated grill until the cheese is completely melted. Cut salmon into strips and spread on the toasts.

    Serve hot.
