Pomegranate Vanilla Vodka

Ingredients

Servings: 1200
  • 2–3 ripe pomegranates
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 300 g white rock candy
  • 700 ml Vodka

Directions

    Halve the pomegranates and remove approx. 2 tbsp. of the seeds. Squeeze out the remaining halves with the hand citrus press (results in approx. 200 ml). Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise, scrape out the pulp

    Mix the candy, vanilla pulp and pod, pomegranate juice, remaining pomegranate seeds and vodka in a wide-necked bottle (approx. 1.5 litres capacity) or a bowl. Leave in a cool place for 2-3 weeks until the sugar has dissolved

    Pour the finished liqueur through a sieve and fill into bottles, leaving some space. Distribute the pomegranate seeds into the bottles and close them tightly. Keep in a cool place for several weeks
