Christmas liqueur four times different - Orange Liqueur

Ingredients

  • 400 g Sugar
  • 250 ml dry white wine
  • 700 g untreated oranges
  • 2 stem(s) Lemongrass
  • 6 piece(s) Star Anise
  • 700 ml Vodka

Directions

    Bring sugar, wine and 250 ml water to the boil and boil down like a syrup. Wash the oranges, grate them dry and cut off the peel, as thin as possible. Halve the oranges and squeeze them. Cut lemongrass in half lengthwise and cut in several times. Add peel, juice, aniseed and lemon grass to the syrup and let it cool down, chill if necessary

    Pour the vodka into the orange syrup, cover and chill for about 2 days. Pass the liqueur through a sieve, fill into clean bottles, close and chill
