Oriental minced rolls with paprika sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 200 g Rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt and pepper
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cumin
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 3 Peppers (e.g. green, yellow and red)
  • 5 TABLESPOONS Ajvar (spicy paprika preparation; glass)
  • 100 g Schmand
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter

Directions

    Cook rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Peel garlic and dice finely. Knead minced meat with garlic, bread crumbs and egg. Season with 1 tsp salt, 1⁄2 tsp pepper, 1 Msp cinnamon and 1 Msp cumin.

    Form approx. 12 rolls from the mixture. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Fry the rolls for about 8 minutes. Remove and keep warm.

    For the sauce, peel onions and cut them into strips. Clean, wash and finely dice the peppers. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan. Sauté the paprika and onions in it. Deglaze with 400 ml water. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.

    Stir in ajvar and sour cream, heat up. Season sauce with salt and pepper. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Mix rice with chives and butter. Arrange everything.
