Peel and finely chop the onion. Cut salmon into strips. Chop nuts coarsely. Cook pasta in boiling salted water for about seven minutes. Heat oil in a pot, fry onions in it, add nuts and sauté, deglaze with cream and broth and let simmer for four minutes.
Season the sauce with salt, pepper and paprika. Bring to the boil, stir in the sauce thickener and bring to the boil again. Add salmon. Turn noodles into four nests, arrange on plates with sauce and serve garnished with parsley and basil as desired.
