Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 250 g Onions
  • 8 (approx. 1.2 kg) Pork escalope
  • 2-3 TEASPOONS Gyros seasoning salt
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS dried oregano
  • 5-6 Tbsp Oil
  • 150 g Tomatoes
  • 1 package (460 g) Pizza dough base mix (2 bags of 230 g each)
  • 250 g Fresh cream
  • 150 g grated, medieval Gouda
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh oregano
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

  1. 1

Onions peel, halve and in strips cut. Wash the meat, dab dry and also cut into strips. Mix meat, onions, gyros spice and oregano. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the meat in portions.

  2. 2

Let it cool down a little. Meanwhile wash the tomatoes, dab dry and cut into slices. Put both bags of the baking mixture into a bowl, add 1/4 litre of lukewarm water and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer.

  3. 3

Then knead the dough briefly with your hands. Roll out the dough evenly on a greased baking tray (33x33 cm). Spread the gyros (let the gravy drip off a little) and the tomatoes on top.

  4. 4

Add crème fraîche as a blob and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the preheated oven on the lowest rack (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. Cut into approx. 16 pieces and serve sprinkled with oregano flakes and garnished as desired.

    Results in about 16 pieces.
