The batter and plenty of fat quickly turn healthy fish into a calorie bomb. We prefer to turn the pieces in condensed milk and wholemeal crumbs and then fry them crisply in the coated pan. Buttermilk slims down the dip and the creamy mashed potatoes

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 bunch Radishes
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 Onion

  • 2 disc/s (each 25 g) Whole grain toast bread
  • 500 g Cod fillet
  • 5 TABLESPOONS condensed milk (7,5 % fat)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Rapeseed oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1

For the tartar sauce, clean and wash the radishes. Washing the cucumber. Peel onion. Dice everything finely. Wash the dill, shake dry and chop finely.

  2. 2

Mix sour cream, 100 g buttermilk and salad cream. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in radish, cucumber, onion and dill. Leave to stand for about 30 minutes. In the meantime peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 20 minutes.

  3. 3

For the fish toast chop finely in the universal chopper. Wash the fish, dab dry and cut into 4 pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Turn fish first in condensed milk and then in toast crumbs. Heat oil in a coated pan. Fry the fish for about 2 minutes on each side.

  4. 4

Drain the potatoes. Add 250 g buttermilk and crush everything coarsely. Season to taste with salt and nutmeg. Serve everything.

  5. 5

Buttermilk contains only half as many calories as whole milk, but almost as much calcium. Its mildly sour taste brings freshness to sweet and savoury cuisine. Tip for a satisfying slimming drink in between: Puree 1 glass of buttermilk with 1⁄2 banana or 1 handful of berries. Delicious!
