Roughly chop the cherries. Melt butter in a pot. Add juice, vanilla pulp and sugar and mix. Remove from heat and stir in flour.
Carefully fold in flaked almonds, chopped almonds and cherries. Place 1 teaspoon of dough in heaps on each of 2 baking trays lined with baking paper. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool down a little on the hot baking tray, then lift them carefully off the baking tray and let them cool down on a cake rack
