Ingredients

  • 400 ml vegetable oil
  • 5 Star Anise
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 3 Bay leaves
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Szechuan Pepper
  • 70 g Chili Flakes
  • 2 TEASPOONS Salt

Directions

    Put oil, star anise, cinnamon stick, bay leaves and pepper in a pot and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, the spices must not burn. Let the oil cool down for about 30 minutes, remove spices carefully from the oil. Fill chili flakes and salt into a glass and pour oil over it.
