Swedish fan potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 kg medium-sized waxy potatoes (e.g. Linda)
  • 75 g Butter
  • 60 g grated parmesan

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes. With a knife, cut in close together, but do not cut through. Place the potatoes on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Melt butter. Spread some butter on the potatoes.

    Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 50 minutes. Brush with melted butter from time to time. 10 minutes before the end of the baking time, sprinkle potatoes with grated parmesan and bake until done.

    Goes well with short fried or pan-fried vegetables with sauce.
