Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 150 g Gouda cheese
  • 1/2 bunch Chives
  • 4 light round wheat rolls (à approx. 100)
  • 4 discs Cooked ham (à approx. 25 g)
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Aluminium foil

Directions

  1. 1

Finely grate the cheese. Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into fine rolls. Cut the lid off the rolls. Hollow out the rest of the rolls so that a narrow edge of approx. 0.5 cm remains.

  2. 2

Place a slice of ham in each of the resulting hollows, beat the eggs into the hollows and season with salt and pepper. Spread cheese and chives on top. Put the lid back on top.

  3. 3

Place rolls in an ovenproof dish (approx. 22 x 22 cm), cover with foil and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: see manufacturer) for 20-25 minutes.
