Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 pinch Cayenne pepper
  • 12 Grapes (e.g. seedless)
  • 12 small round discs of pumpernickel
  • 3 leaves Lettuce
  • 12 (approx. 50 g) wafer-thin slices of cooked ham cold cuts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

  1. 1

Mix cream cheese and milk until smooth, season with salt and cayenne pepper. Wash the grapes, drain

  2. 2

Spread pumpernickel with cream cheese. Wash the salad, pat dry well and pluck into small pieces. Spread the salad and a slice of ham on each cream cheese

  3. 3

Skewer one bunch of grapes onto each wooden skewer and put them on a slice of bread. Arrange three cream cheese pumpernickel talers on a small plate and garnish with parsley if desired

  4. 4

The juicy pumpernickel is a Westphalian bread speciality with a sweetish taste. There are small round and large square slices. You can prepare this starter just as well with brown bread
