Garlic slices with herb curd

Ingredients

Servings: 6
  • 75 g diced lean ham
  • 1 TEASPOON Oil
  • 2 small carrots
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2-3 Spring onions
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley
  • 1 collar Chives
  • 500 g Low-fat curd
  • 75 g ripened cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS butter/margarine
  • 6 Slices (approx. 60 g each)
  • 7-10 Tbsp farmhouse bread

Directions

    Lightly fry the ham in hot oil. Put something aside for garnishing. Peel, wash and finely dice the carrots. Cover and steam for 2-3 minutes in little boiling salted water. Drain

    Clean and wash spring onions and cut into fine rings. Wash the herbs. Cut chives into small rolls. Chop parsley, except for something to garnish

    Stir curd and sour cream until smooth. Stir in carrots, spring onions, ham and half of the herbs. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika

    Peel garlic and dice finely. Heat the fat in a large coated pan. Roast bread and garlic in it while turning. Sprinkle with other herbs and fry briefly. Cut the slices of bread in half and serve with the quark. Sprinkle with the rest of the ham and garnish with parsley
