Lamb's lettuce with walnuts

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 50 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 medium onion
  • 8-12 Walnut kernels
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, some thyme
  • 200 g Lamb's lettuce

Directions

    Finely dice the bacon. Peel and chop onion. Chop nuts coarsely, roast without fat and take out. Fry bacon in hot oil until crispy.

    Brown the onion. Deglaze with 6-8 tablespoons of water and vinegar. Season with salt, pepper and thyme. Cool down

    Clean, wash and drain the salad. Mix with marinade and nuts
