Ingredients

  • 1 pack of (500 g) Baking mix for ciabatta (with yeast)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp approx. 1 tablespoon each of poppy, sesame, linseed and sunflower seeds for sprinkling
  • 500 g Sliced cheese (e.g. Gouda cheese)
  • 300 g Soft cheese (e.g. Brie cheese)
  • 200 g Sliced cheese in pieces (e.g. Edam)
  • 7-10 Tbsp cherry tomatoes and basil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper

Directions

    Put the bread mix in a bowl. Add oil and 340 ml of lukewarm water. Knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer first at a low setting, then at a high setting until the dough is smooth and separates from the edge of the bowl. Dust with flour. Cover with foil and leave to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour. Place the dough on a floured work surface and form into a roll (dough is very soft).

    Divide the roll into 16 pieces of dough. Form into rolls with floured hands. Put the rolls together on a baking tray lined with baking paper to form a ring (outside approx. 32 cm, inside approx. 21 cm Ø). Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 15-25 minutes. Brush the bread roll ring with water. Sprinkle alternately with poppy seeds, sesame seeds, linseeds, sunflower seeds and flour. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas. level 4) for about 5 minutes. Reduce temperature (electric oven: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: stage 3) and bake for another 20-25 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Cut the slices of cheese into triangles (long side approx. 10 cm, short side 4-5 cm).
