Mix flour and baking powder and stir into the milk. Season with salt. Peel banana and cut into 12 slices. Heat the fat in a coated pan. Put dough as 4 round cakes into the pan and cover with banana slices.
Fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Chop the pistachios. Arrange pancakes on a plate, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with pistachios.
