Ingredients

  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 300 g Pork sausage
  • 1 TEASPOON dried thyme
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 200 g strained tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Gyros seasoning salt
  • 1 package (200 g, 4 pieces) Sunday bread rolls (from the refrigerator)
  • 50 g grated gouda cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Olives, marjoram, thyme
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Backpacker

Directions

    Onions peel and roughly chop. Peel garlic and chop finely. Heat the oil in a coated pan, crumble the ground pork into it and fry it vigorously while turning. Add 3/4 of the onions, garlic and thyme, fry briefly.

    Add tomato paste, sweat it and deglaze with tomatoes. Bring to the boil and season to taste with salt, pepper and gyros seasoning salt. Open roll roll. Roll out dough pieces on a floured work surface to a flat cake each.

    Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread the Mett tomato mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes.

    Sprinkle with remaining onions and serve garnished with olives, marjoram and thyme as desired. Serve with sour cream.
