Ingredients

  • 125 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 3 packages Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 25 g ground almonds (without skin)
  • 90 g Butter
  • 1.5 kg Apples
  • 2 TABLESPOONS fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 25 g flaked almonds
  • 250 g Whipped cream
  • 150 g clotted cream
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cinnamon and Mint

Directions

    For the crumbles, place flour, 75 g sugar, 1 packet of vanillin sugar, salt, ground almonds and butter in flakes in a mixing bowl and knead with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Then work into crumbles with your hands. Put the crumbles in a cool place. Wash, peel and quarter the apples, cut out the core. Cut apples into slices. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Put apples in a greased, ovenproof flat dish.

    Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Spread crumbles evenly on top and sprinkle with flaked almonds. Bake in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. In the meantime whip cream and sour cream until creamy with the whisks of the hand mixer. Sprinkle in the remaining vanilla sugar. Remove the apple crumble from the oven, add a dollop of cream, sprinkle with cinnamon as desired and decorate with mint. Add the rest of the cream extra
