Wholemeal sandwich with aspic

Ingredients

  • 1 wholemeal baguette (350 g)
  • 2 (220 g) Carrots
  • 1 (100 g) small apple
  • 4 large leaves lettuce
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Danish remoulade
  • 12 (approx. 320 g) Discs
  • 7-10 Tbsp Beef brawn with horseradish
  • several sheets flat leaf parsley

Directions

    Cut the baguette into four pieces of the same size, then cut each piece in half horizontally. Peel and finely grate the carrots. Wash and quarter the apple and remove the core. Cut apple into slices.

    Wash the lettuce leaves and dab dry. Spread the lower baguette halves with one tablespoon of tartar sauce each, place the lettuce leaf on top. Arrange grated carrots, apple slices and 3 slices of brawn on top.

    Garnish with parsley leaves. Cover with the top half of the baguette.
