Ingredients

  • 1 Lime
  • 6 Stem(s) Mint
  • 500 g Strawberries
  • 1 glass (370 ml) Pineapple pieces
  • 100 ml white rum
  • 100 g demerara sugar
  • 500 ml Well cooled mineral water with lots of carbon dioxide
  • 1 (0.7 liter) bottle of well-chilled Prosecco

Directions

    Wash the lime hot, grate dry and grate the peel thinly with a fine grater. Halve the lime, squeeze the juice. Wash the mint, shake dry and pluck the leaves from the stalks. Wash and clean the strawberries and cut into thin slices. Mix strawberries, mint, pineapple with juice, rum, sugar, lime juice and peel and leave to marinate in a cool place for about 1 hour. Pour into a punch bowl and fill up with mineral water and prosecco just before serving
