Strawberry and Mint Lime Drink

Ingredients

  • 2 Limes
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 small pot of peppermint
  • 350 ml Bitter Lemon
  • 2 (each 0.75 l) cold bottles of prosecco
  • 2 kg Ice cubes to refill
  • 200 g Strawberries
  • 50 ml Pomegranate syrup

    For the Mint Lime Drink, cut limes in half and squeeze the juice. Bring the sugar and lime juice to the boil and simmer briefly until the sugar has dissolved. Let the syrup cool down. Wash the peppermint, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stalks. Pour the mint, syrup, bitter lemon and 1 bottle of Prosecco into a large carafe (approx. 1.5 litres capacity), mix and fill up with ice

    For the strawberry drink, wash and clean the strawberries and cut them into thin slices. Pour the strawberries, remaining prosecco and pomegranate syrup into a large carafe (approx. 1.5 litres capacity), mix and fill with ice
