Smørrebrød (Danish bread bites) with roast pork

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 125 g dried plums
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Aquavit
  • 150 g Cucumber
  • 1 big red onion
  • 30 g Beetroot sprouts
  • 8 discs Roast pork cold cuts
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Butter
  • 8 discs Wholemeal rye bread
  • 125 g Danish remoulade
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Dice the plums and sprinkle with aquavit. Wash the cucumber and slice thinly. Peel onion and slice or chop finely. Wash the sprouts and drain well. Cover cold cuts with plums and roll up. Cut each roll into three pieces

    Spread bread with butter. Cover bread with roast rolls and cucumber. Sprinkle with tartar sauce. Cover with onion rings and sprouts. Garnish with parsley
