Smoothie of orange, beetroot, kale and green tea

Ingredients

  • 1 heaped Tsp loose green tea
  • 2 medium-sized oranges
  • 350 g cooked beetroot (vacuum-packed)
  • 50 g Kale leaves
  • 250 ml Carrot juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Carrot strips

Directions

    Pour 250 ml of hot water over green tea and leave to steep for 3-5 minutes. Peel the orange so that the white skin is completely removed. Remove the fillets with a sharp knife between the parting skins. Squeeze the juice out of the parting skins. Drain the tea and let it cool down. Drain the beetroot and chop it finely. Wash the kale, shake dry and remove the hard middle panicles

    Blend the tea, orange filets and juice, kale, beetroot and carrot juice in a blender. Pour the smoothie into 4 glasses and garnish each with a strip of carrot. Serve immediately
