Peel and wash the potatoes and carrots and cut them into large pieces. Cook in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime clean, wash and cut the savoy cabbage into strips. Peel onions. Dice one onion. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and fry the diced onion until transparent. Add cabbage, season with salt and pepper, braise for 5 minutes at high heat.
Deglaze with broth, cover and cook for about 8 minutes. In the meantime heat up milk. Drain potato and carrot vegetables. Add hot milk and mash. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Refine savoy cabbage with cream, add cheese and melt in it. Then drain well, catch the sauce. Put half of the savoy cabbage in a large casserole dish. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the sausages for 2-3 minutes while turning. Place on top of the savoy cabbage and cover with the rest of the cabbage. Spread mashed potatoes and carrots on top. Drizzle with drained cheese cream.

Place on top of the savoy cabbage and cover with the rest of the cabbage. Spread mashed potatoes and carrots on top. Drizzle with drained cheese cream. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes. In the meantime cut the remaining onions into rings. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter and fry the onion rings. After 20 minutes spread on the casserole and bake with it. Wash the chives and cut into small rolls. Serve the casserole sprinkled with chives
