Ribbon noodles with ham and tomato sauce

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 250 g Carrots
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Tomato paste
  • 1 package (500 g) strained tomatoes
  • 250 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 300 g ribbon noodles (e.g. with wavy edges)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 125 g cooked ham (in slices)
  • 1 TABLESPOON sauce thickener
  • 7-10 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 1 pinch Sugar
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Tomato ketchup
  • 7-10 Tbsp Basil and parmesan slicer

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Clean, wash and finely dice the carrots. Clean, wash and cut spring onions into rings. Heat oil in a pan. Steam onions, garlic and carrots in it.

    Add spring onions and sauté briefly. Stir in tomato paste. Add tomatoes and stock, bring to the boil and simmer at low heat for about 8 minutes. In the meantime, put the noodles in boiling salted water and cook for 8-9 minutes.

    Cut the ham into strips. Bring the tomato sauce to the boil, stir in the sauce thickener and bring to the boil again. Add ham strips and season with salt, pepper, paprika, sugar and ketchup. Drain noodles, quench and drain.

    Arrange noodles and sauce on a plate. Serve garnished with basil and Parmesan cheese.
