The dough for the juicy curd rolls without yeast is jerky, kneaded in no time and in the oven they only need a quarter of an hour. They taste particularly delicious lukewarm with butter and a dash of jam.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Whipped cream
  • baking paper

Directions

    Place the quark, eggs, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt in a mixing bowl and mix with the whisks of the hand mixer. Mix flour and baking powder. First knead with the whisks and finally with the dough hooks of the hand mixer in portions.

    With the help of 2 tablespoons, place about 9 piles of dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press the surface slightly with lightly floured hands. Bake in a preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 15 minutes. Spread the quark rolls with cream shortly before the end of the baking time. Put the rolls on a cake rack, sprinkle them with sugar or icing sugar as desired and let them cool down.
