Pulled pork in a melted cheese sandwich

If there is any Pulled Pork left over or if you have to taste it urgently: Put it quickly between two slices of bread (also older ones are welcome) and fry them in a pan until crispy - the cheese filling will melt

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 leaves Rocket salad
  • 150 g Cheddar
  • 300 g pulled pork
  • 200 g BBQ sauce
  • 4 large slices of mixed wheat bread
  • 4 TSP Mustard
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter

Directions

    Wash the salad, shake dry. Grate cheese roughly. Mix pulled pork, BBQ sauce and cheese. Coat slices of bread with mustard. Distribute meat mixture and salad on 2 slices, finish with remaining slices. Heat half of the butter in a pan and fry the sandwiches for about 2 minutes on each side. Cut the finished sandwiches in half.

    Tip: A pot weights the sandwich and ensures the best contact between bread and pan. This way it gets really crispy!
