Pea rice with beefsteak

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 piece (à ca. 2 cm) Ginger
  • 500 g Beefsteak
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper
  • 2 TEASPOONS Curry
  • 200 g Basmati rice
  • 1 collar Parsley
  • 200 g frozen peas

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic and ginger. Wash the meat, dab dry and cut into fine cubes.

    Heat the oil in a large deep frying pan. Sauté the meat in it in 3 portions while turning briefly and thoroughly. Add onion, ginger and garlic and fry briefly. Put all the meat back into the pan. Season with salt, pepper and curry. Stir in uncooked rice. Deglaze with 1⁄2 l water, bring to the boil, cover and cook for about 10 minutes.

    Wash and chop the parsley. Stir the frozen peas into the rice and bring to the boil briefly. Stir in parsley. Yoghurt tastes good with it.
