Pomegranate Vanilla Vodka

Ingredients

  • 2–3 ripe pomegranates
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 300 g white candy
  • 1 (0,7 l) bottle of vodka

Directions

    Halve the pomegranates and remove approx. 2 tbsp. of the seeds. Squeeze out the remaining halves with the hand citrus press (results in approx. 200 ml). Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp.

    Mix the candy, vanilla pod, vanilla pulp, pomegranate juice, remaining pomegranate seeds and vodka in a wide-necked bottle (approx. 1.3 l capacity) or bowl. Cover and leave in a cool place for 2-3 weeks until the sugar has dissolved.

    Pour vodka-pomegranate mix through a funnel into clean bottles and close the bottles.
