Mint Lime Soda & Strawberry Royal

Ingredients

  • 6 Limes (of which 1 organic)
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 bunch of spearmint
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 8-12 Tbsp Pomegranate syrup
  • 2 kg Ice cubes to refill
  • 1 (1 l) Bottle chilled Bitter Lemon
  • 1 (750 ml) bottle of chilled Prosecco or sparkling wine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Drinking straws

Directions

    For the organic mint lime, wash hot and dry. Squeeze the remaining limes and measure out approx. 200 ml of juice. Bring the sugar and lime juice to the boil and simmer briefly until the sugar has dissolved.

    Let the syrup cool down. Wash the mint, shake dry and pluck off the leaves. Put the mint and syrup into eight clean glasses. Close the glasses and chill. Cut organic lime into 8 slices.

    For the royal, wash and clean the strawberries and cut them into thin slices. Put the strawberries and pomegranate syrup into eight clean glasses. Close the jars and chill until transport.

    Open glasses just before serving. Put ice cubes into the glasses. Add slices of lime to the lime mixture, fill up with bitter lemon. Fill up strawberry mixture with Prosecco. Serve immediately.
