Apple mulled wine

Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 piece(s) (about 20 g) fresh ginger
  • 700 ml cloudy apple juice
  • 1⁄8 l red grape juice
  • 1⁄4 l dry cider (apple wine)
  • 3-4 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 Apple Slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp 1 strong pinch of ground cinnamon

Directions

    Peel the ginger and cut into slices. Put apple juice, grape juice and ginger in a pot. Bring to the boil and let it simmer at low heat for about 5 minutes. Add cider, heat up again and season with sugar.

    Serve hot apple mulled wine to taste with apple wedges and a little cinnamon.
