Plaice rolls with pesto on savoy cabbage

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4–6 Savoy cabbage leaves
  • 500 g Carrots
  • 200 g Shiitake mushrooms
  • 7-10 Tbsp or brown mushrooms
  • 1 collar Spring onions
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Plaice fillets (approx. 150 g each)
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Lemon juice
  • 4 TSP red pesto (glass)
  • 8 wooden skewers

Directions

    Clean and wash the savoy cabbage leaves. Put 2 bamboo steaming baskets or a steaming insert with it

    Peel and wash the carrots and slice or cut them into fine strips. Clean and grate the mushrooms. Clean and wash spring onions. Cut the green into small rolls, cut the white in half lengthwise. Mix carrots, mushrooms and spring onions. Season with a little salt and pepper. Spread on the savoy cabbage leaves

    Wash the fish fillets, dab dry and halve lengthwise. Sprinkle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and brush each with 1⁄2 TL Pesto. Roll up and pin

    Place the plaice rolls on the vegetables. Place baskets on top of each other. Fill the wok or deep frying pan to approx. 1⁄3 with water and bring to the boil. Place baskets inside and steam everything covered for 10-15 minutes. If necessary, add hot water in between. Goes well with rice
