Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1/4 (approx. 1 kg) Watermelon
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lime
  • 4 Lime slices and mint to decorate

Directions

  1. 1

Bring the sugar and 100 ml of water to the boil briefly (sugar must be dissolved) and let it cool down. Remove the seeds from the melon, remove the flesh from the skin and puree. Mix with sugar syrup and lime juice. Pour into a wide bowl and freeze in the freezer for 8-12 hours.

  2. 2

Stir every 30 minutes for the first 6-8 hours. For portioning, allow the sorbet to thaw slightly and stir well again. Pour sorbet into a piping bag with a large star-shaped spout and squirt into 4 chilled glasses (approx. 150 ml content). Decorate with lime wedges and mint
