Lime iced tea with melon and kiwis

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 6 Tl black tea (e.g. Darjeeling)
  • 3 Limes
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1/2 (approx. 1.5 kg) Watermelon
  • 2 Kiwis
  • 1 Bag of ice cubes (12-15 pieces)
  • 1/4 l Lemon-flavoured mineral water
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Pour 3/4 litres of boiling water over the tea and leave to brew for about 3 minutes. Wash 1 lime thoroughly and cut into slices. Squeeze the rest of the limes. Mix tea, sugar and lime juice.

    Add the lime wedges and leave to cool. Cut a slice from the melon and cut into 4 slices. Cut out balls from the remaining melon. Peel kiwis and cut into slices. Add fruit and ice cubes to the cold lime tea.

    Fill with Apollinaris lemon. Serve immediately garnished with fresh mint and melon corners.
