Lemon chicken fillet in a roasting tube

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 4 red peppers
  • 3 Stem(s) Sage
  • 2 Lemons
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 3-4 Tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Chicken fillets (approx. 150 g each)
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 (approx. 55 cm) Roasting hose
  • 7-10 Tbsp Kitchen yarn

Directions

    Peel and halve the garlic. Clean, wash and chop the spring onion. Halve, clean, wash and cut the bell peppers into strips. Wash sage and dab dry, remove leaves. Wash and dry lemons.

    Squeeze 1 lemon. Cut 1 lemon into thin slices. Season vegetables with salt and pepper, mix with oil, lemon juice and sage. Wash the meat and dab dry. Season with salt and pepper. Tie the roasting hose tightly at one end with kitchen string. Place the fillets, lemon slices and vegetables in the steamer tube and pour in 100 ml vegetable stock each. Close the roasting hoses tightly. Cut a small cross-cut (1 cm x 1 cm) in the top of the tube. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes, remove.

    Tie the roasting hose tightly at one end with kitchen string. Place the fillets, lemon slices and vegetables in the steamer tube and pour in 100 ml vegetable stock each. Close the roasting hoses tightly. Cut a small cross-cut (1 cm x 1 cm) in the top of the tube. Cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ circulating air: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 15 minutes, remove. Remove meat and vegetables from the oven hose and arrange on plates. Wholemeal baguettes taste great with it
