Leberkäse-Paprika-Pan with fried potatoes

Ingredients

  • 600 g large potatoes
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Peppers (e.g. green and yellow)
  • 400 g Leberkäse or meat sausage
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 5 Stem(s) Oregano
  • 2 TEASPOONS Capers (glass)

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large coated pan with lid. Cover the potatoes and fry them at medium heat for about 10 minutes.

    Meanwhile peel and chop the onions. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into strips. Cut Leberkäse also into strips. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry Leberkäse in it for 3-4 minutes, remove.

    Sauté the peppers and half of the onions in hot frying fat. Add tomatoes and juice. Chop the tomatoes. Boil everything up. Season with salt, pepper and some sugar. Simmer covered for 3-4 minutes.

    Add the remaining onions to the potatoes. Fry open for another 8 minutes until crispy. Season with salt and pepper. Wash and chop the oregano. Heat in the sauce with meatloaf and capers. Season ragout and arrange with the fried potatoes.
