Kasseler with carrots and broccoli

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper, salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 3 Onions
  • 600 g Carrots
  • 500 g Broccoli
  • 30 g Flour
  • 30 g butter/margarine
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cream horseradish (glass)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp pink berries

Directions

    Wash the meat and pat dry. Rub with pepper and place on a greased fat pan. Roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 1 hour

    Peel and quarter the onions. After about 30 minutes add to the meat. 20 minutes before the end of the frying time, add approx. 3/8 l water

    Clean, wash and chop the vegetables. Steam carrots in approx. 1/8 l boiling salted water for approx. 12 minutes, cover and cook broccoli for approx. 7 minutes

    Sweat flour in hot fat. Stir in roast stock and cream. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with horseradish, lemon juice, pepper and possibly salt. Remove the smoked pork loin from the bone. Serve with vegetables and sauce. Garnish with pink berries if desired. Boiled potatoes taste good with it.
