Pork steaks with sugar pods and kohlrabi vegetables

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Kohlrabis with leaf green (à approx. 400 g)
  • 125 g Sweet peas
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 1 TABLESPOON Flour
  • 75 g Whipped cream
  • 8 small pork minute steaks (à approx. 75 g)
  • 1 Bag of mashed potatoes "the complete"
  • 7-10 Tbsp colourful pepper

Directions

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Peel and wash the kohlrabis. Clean, wash and chop fine kohlrabigrün. Cut the kohlrabis into about 1.5 cm thick sticks. Clean, wash and halve sugar snap peas

    Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan. Sauté the onion for about 2 minutes. Add kohlrabi and steam briefly. Pour in broth and simmer covered for 5-7 minutes. Add sugar snap peas and kohlrabi about 3 minutes before the end of cooking time. Season with salt and pepper. Drain the kohlrabi, place in a bowl and keep warm. Pour stock back into the pot, bring to the boil. Mix flour and cream until smooth, stir into the stock and simmer for about 2 minutes. Pour over the kohlrabi

    Meanwhile wash the meat and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan. Fry 4 steaks for 3-4 minutes while turning, remove and keep warm. Fry the remaining steaks in the same way in hot frying fat

    Boil 500 ml water. Remove the pot from the heat, let it cool down for 1 minute and stir in the puree flakes. Arrange 2 steaks, mashed potatoes and vegetables on plates and sprinkle with coloured pepper
