Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 4 Bratwursts
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Salt
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Vegetable corn
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) kidney beans
  • 2 Gherkins
  • 1 Onion
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 pack of Flake Puree
  • 2 Chillies
  • 2 Bags "Fix for Chili con Carne"
  • 4 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine

Directions

    Wash the sausages, dab dry, cut in slightly. Heat oil in a large pan. Fry the sausages in it all around for about 8 minutes. Then season with cayenne pepper. Meanwhile boil 1/2 litre water and salt.

    Drain the corn and beans. Cut the gherkin into slices. Peel and chop onion. Remove salt water from the stove. Add milk. Stir in the puree flakes briefly, allow to swell for approx. 1 minute and stir again.

    Remove the sausage from the pan and keep warm. Sauté onion cubes and chillies in it. Add 1/2 litre water. Stir in chilli con carne, bring to the boil. Add corn, beans and gherkin. Cook for 5 minutes.

    Wash the parsley, chop finely except for a few leaves for garnishing. Melt the fat. Toss the chopped parsley in it. Arrange sausage with vegetable sauce and mashed potatoes on plates. Pour parsley butter over the mashed potatoes.

    Garnish with parsley.
