Hearty wholemeal toast

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 medium onion
  • 400 g Beefsteak minced meat
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • 2 Gherkins
  • 1 TABLESPOON Pearl onions
  • 75 g light cream cheeses

    4 slices of whole grain toast

    Parsley to garnish

    Peel and finely chop the onion. Mix minced meat, diced onion and egg yolk. Season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 meatballs, press flat and grill under the hot grill of the oven for about 5 minutes. Cut tomatoes and gherkins into slices. Drain pearl onions. Cover the meatballs with them. Cut off the cream cheese with teaspoons and place on the tomato slices. Clean and wash the salad and drain well. Toast the slices of bread, let cool down a little and cover with lettuce leaves. Add the meatballs and serve immediately garnished with parsley
