Peel onions and cut them into rings. Dab meat dry and cut into strips
Mix both with gyros spice and oregano. Heat the oil in a large pan. Fry the meat for 5-8 minutes. Let it cool down a little bit
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Knead the baking mix (2 bags) and 1/4 l lukewarm water with the dough hooks of the hand mixer. Then knead vigorously with your hands
Roll out the dough on a greased baking tray (35 x 40 cm). Cover with gyros and tomatoes. Spread crème fraîche as a blob on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for 35-40 minutes
