Ingredients

Servings: 9
  • 4 Salmon chops (approx. 200 g each)
  • 1 (approx. 1 kg) Salmon tail piece
  • 4-5 Tbsp lemon juice, 2 onions
  • 1 bay leaf, 1/2 bunch thyme
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp rubbed off. peel of 1 untreated lemon
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, black pepper

Directions

  1. 1

Wash the fish, dab dry. Cut the tail piece crosswise more often. Sprinkle fish with lemon

  2. 2

Peel and chop the onions. Crumble the bay leaf. Thyme wash, pluck. Mix prepared ingredients with oil and lemon peel

  3. 3

Season fish. Pour herbal oil into the incisions of the tail piece. Grill the piece on the preheated electric grill for about 35 minutes, salmon chops for 12-15 minutes. Served with: garlic sauce, bread and grilled tomatoes

  4. 4

Fish grilling requires a little bit of tact and sensitivity. Because fish is quickly cooked due to its delicate fibres. With chops and flat pieces, a small knife thrust is enough to see whether the fish is ready to serve. Whole fish are cooked when the meat can be easily removed from the bones
